Kletoks are essentially spotted cats with antlers.
There are at least 128 distinct species of Kletok.
The most common variety, the lesser short-maned kletok, is pictured at left.
All varieties are known for their manes, antlers, and spotted coats.
Kletoks are found on the planet Sanamane in the Tela system, roughly
16.4 light years from Earth. Sanamane’s surface is 83% water and is
filled with large island-clusters, enabling a singularly diverse biosphere
to flourish, producing an unrivaled abundance of flora and fauna.
Kletoks of all varieties share many traits with cats, including behavioral patterns, dietary needs, and basic physiology. Preferred habitats include wetland-forest, mountain, and coastal areas. In addition to their often formidable claws and teeth, Kletoks will also utilize their antlers while at play, when finding a mate, and if confronted with danger.
The governments of Calma, Ten, and Ave have convened in recent
decades to protect the planet Sanamane, establishing it
as a permanent CGP galactic heritage site.
